Item 8.01 Other Events
On January 31, 2023, Coeptis Therapeutics Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: COEP) (“Coeptis”) issued a press release announcing the execution of a sponsored research agreement with University of Pittsburgh related to the advancement of the pre-clinical development of SNAP-CAR T cells targeting HER2 as well as identify opportunities to expand the applicability of SNAP-CAR. As previously disclosed by Coeptis, SNAP-CAR is a multi-antigen chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR T) technology that was previously licensed by Coeptis from the University of Pittsburgh. A copy of the press release is included with the Current Report on Form 8-K.
