U.S. CBP agency shuts Del Rio border crossing amid influx in migrants
MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on Friday said it would temporarily close the Del Rio border crossing with Mexico amid an influx of migrants.
The measure was effective immediately and the traffic at Del Rio, Texas, would be re-routed 57 miles (93 km) east to the Eagle Pass border crossing, CBP added.
