Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) November 13, 2015
Sport Ngin announced today that it has acquired Advanced Event Systems (AES) to strengthen its capabilities offered to volleyball tournaments and clubs. The AES team immediately joins Sport Ngin and will continue supporting AES customers.
"AES is the most powerful suite of volleyball competition and event management technology and services in the industry," said Justin Kaufenberg, co-founder and chief executive officer at Sport Ngin. "When you combine their technology solutions, their value added services and their team with the Sport Ngin platform, you have a really exciting whole product solution for all levels of the volleyball market."
The Sport Ngin platform is used by more than 500,000 sports organizations, teams, leagues, clubs, associations, and tournaments to grow and promote their organizations, communicate with millions of athletes & parents, and manage competition. Sport Ngin is one of the largest sports technology companies in North America.
"As we've grown, we always knew that providing the best experience to our customers would require us to either put significant investment into scaling our applications, or, we'd have to join a technology platform." added Brad Preston, AES owner. "In the end, we knew that our customers would benefit far more by joining Sport Ngin. Together we're going to be able to significantly enhance the way volleyball clubs, tournaments, and leagues are ran. I couldn't be more excited."
Sport Ngin is currently in the process of bringing AES applications to the Sport Ngin platform and working with customers to build an integration roadmap that will delight volleyball tournaments and clubs.
"In fact, there will be no changes to AES products or services this year," added Angie Franks, chief marketing officer at Sport Ngin. "With the volleyball season already starting for so many customers, it's important that we don't make big in season changes to AES services."
