Capmark Financial Group Inc. Announces Corporate Name Change to Bluestem Group Inc. and Election of Directors

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Capmark Financial Group Inc. (OTCMKTS: CPMK) today announced that it has changed its corporate name to Bluestem Group Inc. “Bluestem Group better reflects the company’s operating businesses, including our wholly-owned subsidiary, Bluestem Brands,” said Chidam Chidambaram, Bluestem Group’s Chief Marketing Officer. Bluestem operates through its Fingerhut and Gettington retail brands, each of which offers a large selection of merchandise with a variety of payment options to provide customers with the flexibility of paying over time. Bluestem also operates through PayCheck Direct, an employee purchase program.

Stockholders approved the name change at the annual stockholders meeting on June 17, 2015. Shares will begin trading on the OTC marketplace under the symbol BGRP on June 19, 2015.

Stockholders also elected at the annual meeting the six persons named below to serve as directors of the company until the next annual meeting of stockholders: Charles H. Cremens, Eugene I. Davis, Thomas L. Fairfield, Thomas F. Maher, Steven H. Nave and Scott A. Schroepfer. The company’s preferred stockholders previously re-elected Matthew Kabaker, Brian L. Libman and Jason Mozingo as directors in accordance with the company’s articles of incorporation.
