81% B2B Marketers say their Organizations Invest in Social Media Marketing

Regalix Releases Results of its Research on 'State of B2B Social Media Marketing 2015'

The study, which analyses trends across industries, also identifies social channels that help marketers reach their target audience more effectively and the kind of content that works best when improving customer engagement.

Social Media as a Tool to Build Brand Image

An astonishing 99% marketers feel social media is a crucial part of their communication campaigns. 94% respondents mentioned that the key objective of their social media strategy is building brand awareness, which is not surprising given that content on social media opens new entry points for search engines like Google to find brand names in keyword searches. These entry points could create more ways for the target audience to find a given brand online.

LinkedIn and Twitter most preferred Channels

The study found that Twitter & LinkedIn were the prefered choice of marketers, with 93% and 91% marketers listing them as the most effective channels to reach their targeted audience  respectively. It was also seen that 82% B2B companies monitor social trends. Nimish Vohra, Sr. Vice President-Marketing, Regalix feels there is further scope of using social media as a digital marketing channel.
