Rinnai Praises President Trump and New US Energy Secretary Wright's Decision to Reverse Biden Era Rule That Would Have Banned One of its Most Popular Products

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga., Feb. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- On Friday, the new Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright stated that the DOE would be postponing several Biden-era DOE rules that severely limited consumer appliance choice. One of those products was a very popular model of Rinnai tankless water heaters, a model that is over 25 percent more efficient than a traditional gas tank at one-third the size. Further, Secretary Wright stated that the DOE would create a new product category just for this unique, hi-tech product.

Rinnai also credits Congressman Brian Jack (R-GA 3^rd Congressional District) for helping the company in outreach to the DOE.

"It makes no sense, and President Trump recognized that right away."
