Thailand's first Smart Autonomous Vehicles Solution for Sustainable Industrial Advancement Project is located in the SCG Salaburi mining area with a total investment of USD10 million. Relying on the comprehensive application of cutting-edge technologies, such as 5G, artificial intelligence, autopilot, cloud computing, and new energy power batteries, this mining area will be built into a new type of green, smart, efficient and safe mine. It will become a leading model of mines in Thailand, and even in ASEAN region. Relying on a self-developed "YUGONG" Intelligent Mining Operating System, WAYTOUS will provide technical services for this project by expanding technologies of autonomous driving, smart dispatching, and smart cooperative operation to new energy mining trucks, and create the first overseas project in the field of autonomous driving in China's mining industry.

WAYTOUS, together with both Chinese and Thai partners, will build the first intelligent mining in Thailand and ASEAN region, which will certainly become a model of regional cooperation between China and Thailand in the fields of 5G, artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, and new energy under the new cooperation mode of the Asian-Pacific region.

Under the background of the strengthening comprehensive strategic partnership between Thailand and China for mutual trust and win-win cooperation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), a representative of China's scientific and technological force, established CAS-ICC Bangkok in 2017. The goal is to introduce China's high-tech innovation achievements into Thailand, which provides strong support for Thailand's economic development and scientific and technological personnel training. WAYTOUS is a "national team" high-tech enterprise in the field of artificial intelligence and smart control incubated by the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Throughout this cooperation, WAYTOUS will create a successful case of Sino-Thai cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, further promote China's scientific and technological innovation, and help to expand cooperation through science, technology, and innovation between China, Thailand and other ASEAN countries.
