WSJ reporting 215 IPO's have been delayed or shelved so far in 2011, now the largest number on record. The previous record was from 2008 when companies shelved 214 IPO's over the entire year.
The WSJ says the total value of these shelved IPOs somewhere around $44.1 billion globally.
