S&P Global (NYSE: SPGI) is in advanced talks to acquire IHS Markit (NASDAQ: INFO) for about $44 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported citing people familiar with the matter.
If the deal is consummated it would bring together two of Wall Street’s largest data providers.
