PNC (PNC) Near Deal to Acquire BBVA's U.S. Unit - WSJ

PNC Financial Services (NYSE: PNC) is in advanced talks to acquire the U.S. division of Spain's BBVA, the Wall Street Journal reported citing people familiar with the matter.

The deal would be one of the largest in the banking sector since the financial crisis.
