Apollo Global Management Has Offered To Acquire Tronox Holdings Plc (TROX) For $27 Per Share - Reuters

Private equity firm Apollo Global Management has offered to acquire Tronox Holdings Plc (NASDAQ: TROX) for $27 per share, or $4.3 billion in cash, Reuters reported citing people familiar with the matter.

Tronox has hired bankers to reviews the offer but has not decided on next steps, it was added.

Apollo declined to comment to Reuters and Tronox did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

Tronox Holdings is one of the world's leading producers of high-quality titanium products, including titanium dioxide pigment, specialty-grade titanium dioxide products and high-purity titanium chemicals, and zircon.
