PLCC Moves Higher On Word of DSTI Stake

Shares of Paulson Capital Corp (NASDAQ: PLCC) had a 17% rise today, with volume, while just 46K, was more than 10x the normal rate. It has come to our attention that this company owns a 22% stake in momentum stock DayStar Technologies Inc (NASDAQ: DSTI). While we could not verify the exact ownership, a recent proxy showed that PLCC Chairman, Chester Paulson, owned a 12.1% stake. Shares of DSTI were 60% higher on Thursday 06/09 after announcing a significant contract for its exclusive TerraFoil solar cells.
