Illumina (ILMN) Falls 6% as CFO Leaves to Take Same Role at Quest Diagnostics (DGX)

Illumina, Inc. (NASDAQ: ILMN) shares lost more than 6% after-hours after the company announced CFO Sam Samad will be departing the company on July 8, 2022, after serving in this role for more than five years.
Mr. Samad is leaving for Quest Diagnostics (NYSE: DGX), where he was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Joydeep Goswami, the company’s Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer, will also serve as an interim CFO until a permanent CFO is appointed.
