After-Hours Stock Movers:
Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ: ULTA) rose 3% after it said Dave Kimbell will retire as CEO and will be succeeded by President and Chief Operating Officer Kecia Steelman. Ulta also forecast fourth-quarter comparable sales will increase modestly and operating margin will be above the high end of its previously expected range.
Inari Medical (NASDAQ: NARI) rose 21%, adding to an intraday gain of 30%, after Stryker (NYSE: SYK) confirmed an agreement to acquire it for $80 per share.
Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) rose 0.7% after it announced that Dana White, John Elkann and Charlie Songhurst have been elected to the company's board of directors.
Denali Therapeutics (NASDAQ: DNLI) fell 7% after it announced topline results from an analysis of Regimen G of the Phase 2/3 HEALEY ALS Platform Trial evaluating eIF2B agonist DNL343 in the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The study did not meet the primary endpoint of efficacy in slowing disease progression as compared with placebo.
