On September 7, 2021, Columbia announced that it had entered into an agreement to be acquired by PIMCO in a deal valued at approximately 3.9 billion. Pursuant to the merger agreement, Columbia stockholders will receive $19.30 in cash for each share of Columbia common stock owned. The deal is scheduled to close by the end of 2021.
