White House Considering Nominating Mohamed El-Erian for Fed Vice Chair - DJ

The White House is considering nominating Mohamed El-Erian, Chief Economic Adviser at Allianz, for Fed Vice Chair, according to Dow Jones, citing sources.
The Vice Chair selection process began earlier this this month, and a broad range of candidates are under consideration, with a focus on monetary policy experience.
The White House is also considering nominating Kansas Bank regulator Michelle Bowman for Fed Governor.
