Scotts Miracle-Gro (SMG) Tops Q3 EPS by 9c, Revenues Miss; Lowers Outlook

Scotts Miracle-Gro (NYSE: SMG) reported Q3 EPS of $1.98, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $1.89. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.19 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.24 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Scotts Miracle-Gro sees FY2022 EPS of $4.00-$4.20, versus the consensus of $4.93. Management lowered its full-year sales guidance for U.S. Consumer to down 8 to 9 percent.
