Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR) reports Q3 EPS of $0.47, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter was $1.11 billion, versus the consensus of $1.11 billion.

Same store sales rose 6.2% during the quarter.

Sees Q4 sales of $1.38-$1.42 billion, versus the consensus of $1.42 billion, and EPS of $1.07-$1.15, versus the Street estimate of $1.12. Sees FY09 sales of $4.64-$4.68 billion and EPS of $2.45-$2.53. The Street is currently expecting FY09 sales of $4.67 billion and EPS of $2.46.
