Duke Energy Corp. (DUK) Raises Quarterly Dividend 2% to $0.25; 5.3% Yield

Duke Energy Corp. (NYSE: DUK) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.25 per share, or $1 annualized. This is a 2% increase from the prior dividend of $0.245.

The dividend will be payable on September 16, 2011, to stockholders of record on August 12, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of August 10, 2011.

The annual yield on the dividend is 5.3 percent.
