Agilent Technologies, Inc. (A) Raises Quarterly Dividend 10% to $0.132, Announces $1B Buyback Plan

Agilent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: A) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.132 per share, or $0.528 annualized. This is a 10% increase from the prior dividend of $0.12. The dividend will be payable on January 22, 2014, to stockholders of record on December 31, 2013, with an ex-dividend date of December 27, 2013. The annual yield on the dividend is 1 percent.

The company also announced that its board of directors has authorized a new share repurchase program, effective upon the conclusion of the company’s existing $1 billion repurchase program. The new repurchase program is designed to reduce or eliminate dilution resulting from issuances of stock under the company’s employee equity incentive programs to maintain a share count of approximately 335 million diluted shares.
