South Jersey Industries (SJI) Raises Quarterly Dividend 2.7% to $0.2875; 3.6% Yield

South Jersey Industries (NYSE: SJI) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.2875 per share, or $1.15 annualized. This is a 2.7% increase from the prior dividend of $0.2800.
The dividend will be payable on December 27, 2018, to stockholders of record on December 10, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of December 7, 2018.
The annual yield on the dividend is 3.6 percent.
“We believe this increase acknowledges the importance of a growing dividend to our shareholders, while balancing the significant need for capital as we continue transforming our business to refocus on high-quality, regulated earnings growth,” said President and CEO Michael J. Renna.
