Noble Corp. (NE) Raises Quarterly Dividend 50% to $0.375; 4.7% Yield

Noble Corp. (NYSE: NE) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.375 per share, or $1.5 annualized. This is a 50% increase from the prior dividend of $0.25.

The dividend will be payable on February 20, 2014, to stockholders of record on February 10, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of February 6, 2014.

The annual yield on the dividend is 4.7 percent.

David W. Williams, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Noble Corporation, stated, "Our Board has demonstrated its support for returning cash to shareholders, even during the Company's transformation involving significant capital expenditures devoted to our newbuild program. This increase in our dividend is part of our strategy to deliver attractive returns to our shareholders, in line with our capital allocation strategy and Noble's strong financial position."
