Nevada’s Gaming Control Board Reports 7% Increase Nov. Gaming Wins, Dec. State Collections up 15%
Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $880,141,207 for the month of November 2011. This amounts to a 7.06% increase compared to November 2010, when licensees reported a gaming win of $822,097,967. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2011 through November 30, 2011), gaming win has increased 1.09%.
Gaming win on the Las Vegas Strip roe 9.02% year over year for the month of November to $495,281,895. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2011 through November 30, 2011), gaming win on the Las Vegas strip has increased 1.49% to $2,512,162,276.
The State collected $57,340,756 in percentage fees during the month of December 2011, based upon the taxable revenues generated in November 2011. This represents a 15.17% (or $7,552,550) increase compared to the prior year’s December, when percentage fee collections were $49,788,206.
