Google (GOOGL) Will Stop Using Qualcomm (QCOM) Processors in Pixel 6 and 6 Pro - Bloomberg

Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) said on Monday that its upcoming flagship phones, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, will include new Tensor chips, a processor designed in-house, according to Bloomberg, citing the company. It had previously used Qualcomm (NASDAQ: QCOM) processors in all of its Pixel phones.
The new chip is designed to bolster AI technology and improve speech recognition and the processing of photos and video.
