Fidelity National Financial (FNF) Announces Termination of Proposed Merger with Stewart Information Services (STC)

Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) today announced that FNF and Stewart Information Services Corporation (NYSE: STC) have agreed to terminate FNF's proposed merger with Stewart due to the Federal Trade Commission's issuance of an administrative complaint seeking to block the merger. Under the terms of the merger agreement, FNF will make a payment of $50 million to Stewart in connection with the termination of the proposed merger.
