Criteo S.A. (NASDAQ: CRTO) issued a statement on Google’s announcement on Privacy Sandbox
On July 27, 2022, Google announced in a blog post an updated timeline for Privacy Sandbox milestones, including the further delay of third-party cookie deprecation in the Chrome browser.
As mentioned in the blog post, Criteo believes in an open internet where data and advertising can be combined to deliver richer commerce experiences, while also respecting consumers’ data sharing preferences. In partnership with Google and the wider industry, we welcome the additional time to continue to test and build solutions that strike this balance and ensure the success of all stakeholders across the web.
Importantly, the extended deadline does not in any way change or impact Criteo’s Commerce Media Platform strategy, which will enable our clients to leverage their first-party data assets to reach and engage their audiences without third-party identifiers.
