NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Roth Capital Partners (Roth), www.roth.com, a full service investment bank focused on serving emerging growth companies and their investors, today announced that Ivan Saval has joined the firm as Managing Director, where he will be focusing on providing capital markets and advisory solutions for the AgTech and overall Agribusiness emerging growth industries. Mr. Saval brings twenty years of transaction experience, with the last ten years having focused exclusively on the food supply chain, from seed-to-plate.
“Ivan has developed a niche within the AgTech sector, not only with issuers, but also with fundamental institutional investors who are invested in the space, and is well regarded in the category having exclusively focused on the agribusiness industry over the course of the last decade. He is an experienced investment banker with great relationships and creative structuring capabilities, having worked with multinational firms to family run enterprises on a variety of corporate finance needs. We are excited to have him join our team. We continue to take advantage of opportunities for expansion by adding professionals in sectors which we believe are aligned with our emerging growth focus,” stated Byron Roth, CEO of Roth Capital Partners.
“Roth is uniquely positioned as a value added partner to clients with commercial exposure to agriculture, given its existing capital raise and research capabilities for the industry,” said Mr. Saval. “I look forward to building on their success in the category and growing the platform to become the go-to provider for capital raising and advisory needs for entities innovating all aspects of the agricultural value chain. Agriculture issuers are a growing asset class for investors to consider. Innovation around genetics, plant nutrition, water management, automation, pest control, supply chain transparency, soil management, artificial intelligence, controlled agriculture and carbon sequestration are all contributing to precision, sustainable agriculture that meets the changing tastes & preferences of the consumer. Roth recognizes the growing need for dedicated investment banking for the food systems vertical.”
Most recently, Mr. Saval was Managing Director with National Securities Corporation, a full service investment bank, where he oversaw the Food & Agribusiness practice.
He graduated from Ball State University, BA and received his MBA from The Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.
Since 2014, Roth has been involved in approximately 176 transactions for its Technology clients, with total transaction value of over $10.8 Billion. (Source: Roth Capital Partners | 4/5/2021)
