While retiring from his responsibilities as CEO and moving into a more private life effective June 30, 2021, Mr. Fordyce will continue to support Hudson in an advisory capacity.

Julián Díaz, Chief Executive Officer of Dufry Group, commented, “Roger has been an instrumental part of the business for many years, and in the name of the Dufry Board of Directors and the management team, I would like to thank Roger for his longstanding leadership and his commitment to delivering strong short-term and long-term performance results across the company. Jordi Martin-Consuegra, who currently serves as Hudson’s Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer, will be named Chief Executive Officer upon Mr. Fordyce’s retirement.

Mr. Martin-Consuegra, who has over 25 years of business experience, has been with Hudson and Dufry for 15 years. Mr. Martin-Consuegra was directly involved in leading the successful business integrations of several newly acquired companies for Dufry, including the acquisition of Hudson in 2008, in close partnership with Mr. Fordyce and the entire Hudson management team.

Roger Fordyce, outgoing Chief Executive Officer of Hudson, commented, “Serving as CEO of Hudson has been the honor of my career. Reflecting back, it’s truly remarkable to see how far this company has come over the years and the role we’ve played in transforming the travel retail industry. I am deeply grateful to our team members, landlords, ACDBE partners, and vendors who have contributed to this success every step of the way. Jordi is an exemplary leader with a proven business track record and deep industry insight, and so I firmly believe he will carry the mission of this company forward for years to come.”

Jordi Martin-Consuegra, incoming Chief Executive Officer of Hudson, commented, “It is a true honor and privilege to be appointed as the new CEO of Hudson. I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to the management teams and the Board of Directors for the confidence they’re instilling in me with their decision, and to the Hudson team members for their ongoing support throughout this journey. Roger’s stewardship has guided the company through one of the most unprecedented events in the history of the industry, and has left Hudson well-positioned for continued success. I look forward to the tremendous growth opportunities ahead, and remain confident in the strategy, leadership, and industry relationships already in place to get us there.”

Upon Mr. Martin-Consuegra’s appointment as Hudson Chief Executive Officer on July 1, 2021, Brian Quinn will assume the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Quinn, who has been with Hudson for over 30 years, currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and is responsible for the operational performance of Hudson’s stores across North America.
