Needham & Company reiterated a Buy rating and $6 price target on Resonant (NASDAQ: RESN) after a review of a recent teardown conducted by ABI Research, which indicates a Resonant-designed SAW duplexer has been included in a Wisol front-end module (W7B03) shipping in the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro smartphone (also known as the Galaxy J2 (2018) or the Galaxy Grand Prime Pro) introduced in January 2018.

"As the Galaxy J2 Pro supports Bands 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 38, and 40, used across the U.S., Europe, Asia and China, we anticipate this smartphone to be available globally," Bolton said. "We consider this a significant milestone for Resonant and a confirmation of the company's ISN technology."
