at 08:03 AM Don't Buy Unitil Stock There are many legislative proposals to rein this company in pending, including one to prevent payouts to stockholders if the company is unresponsive to customers. Most utilities are a safe investment - not this one.

at 05:59 PM Unitil is a poor investment ...and the bad news is still coming. Petetions to get rid of Unitil are circling now. Many Unitil customers were out of services for two weeks during the recent ice storms - Unitil was the poorest responder in the region to the tragedy. Unitil is also well known in NE as having terrible customer service. Don't touch it - unless it is to sell.

at 09:16 PM read the news Have you read the news lately. I would touch Unitil right now, they are about to lose a major stake in Massachusetts due to their poor performance and response in the major ice storm. The state is now investigating unitil and will likely take action. Citizens are calling for a switch in their provider. Unitil is not looking so good right now.
