at 09:58 PM Blue-ray blues Hopefully all of these new users will help motivate manufacturers and studios to improve the compatibility of the discs with the machines. The picture quality is awesome, but required firmware updates and incompatibility issues have dampened my joy as an early adopter.

at 12:11 AM Sony Reader facts Your negatives are a little behind the times - with the most recent Reader versions (as of August 2009), Sony has updated their desktop software with a Mac version; you may also want to check your info on the (now called "Reader") online store - Sony has made the switch to industry standard ePub format for all their downloads. Also pertinent: the Sony is open to more formats that Amazon's offering (unless aided by Savory, that is). Just sayin'...

at 03:43 PM crocs and Bill gates Bill must have taken a bath on the Crocs purchase. Was reported that in June he reported that they raised their stake. Looks loike they lost $4 million at least on that one. Good job.
