Regal Entertainment Group Reports Results for Third Quarter 2016 and Declares Quarterly Dividend
October 27, 2016 4:06 PM EDTKNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE: RGC), a leading motion picture exhibitor, today announced third quarter 2016 results.
Total revenues for the third quarter ended September 30, 2016 were $811.5 million compared to total revenues of $725.0 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2015. Net income attributable to controlling interest in the third quarter of 2016 was $42.3 million compared to $21.9 million in the third quarter of 2015. Diluted earnings per share(1) was $0.27 for the third quarter of 2016 compared to $0.14 for the third quarter of 2015.
