MGP Issues Further Updates Regarding Chemical Incident
October 27, 2016 3:52 PM EDTATCHISON, Kan., Oct. 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As previously reported, a chemical release occurred at MGP Ingredients' (Nasdaq: MGPI) plant in Atchison, Kan., at approximately 8 a.m. CT last Friday, Oct. 21. The reaction resulted in emissions venting into the air. As of 11 a.m. that morning, based on observations by local officials, the emissions had dispersed. As is always the case, the health and safety of our employees and the communities in which we operate are our top priority.
