October 25, 2016 7:00 AM EDTCLEVELAND, Oct. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE: SHW) announced its financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2016. Compared to the same periods in 2015, consolidated net sales increased $127.2 million, or 4.0%, to $3.28 billion in the quarter and increased $338.3 million, or 3.9%, to $9.07 billion in nine months.
