Northwest Bancshares, Inc. Announces Third Quarter 2016 Earnings and Quarterly Dividend
October 24, 2016 11:54 AM EDTWARREN, Pa., Oct. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Northwest Bancshares, Inc. (NasdaqGS: NWBI) announced net income for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 of $14.2 million, or $0.14 per diluted share. This represents an increase of $1.3 million compared to the same quarter last year when net income was $12.9 million or $0.13 per diluted share. The annualized returns on average shareholders' equity and average assets for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 were 4.89% and 0.63% compared to 4.54% and 0.59% for the same quarter last year.Â
