Bank Mutual Corporation Reports 33% Increase In Net Income For The Third Quarter Of 2016
October 19, 2016 4:15 PM EDTMILWAUKEE, Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank Mutual Corporation (NASDAQ: BKMU) reported net income of $4.5 million or $0.10 per diluted share in the third quarter of 2016, which was a 33.2% increase over net income of $3.3 million or $0.07 per diluted share in the same quarter of 2015. Year-to-date, Bank Mutual Corporation ("Bank Mutual") reported net income of $12.9 million or $0.28 per diluted share in 2016 compared to $10.5 million or $0.22 per diluted share in the same nine-month period in 2015. The improvements between these periods were primarily due to higher net interest income, higher loan-related fees, higher mortgage banking revenue, and lower...
