United Airlines Reports Third-Quarter 2016 Performance

UAL reported third-quarter net income of $965 million, diluted earnings per share of $3.01, pre-tax earnings of $1.5 billion and pre-tax margin of 15.2 percent. Excluding special items, UAL reported third-quarter net income of $997 million, diluted earnings per share of $3.11, pre-tax earnings of $1.6 billion and pre-tax margin of 15.7 percent.
