October 14, 2016 7:27 AM EDTMondelez Int'l (NASDAQ: MDLZ) share are on watch Friday following news The Hershey Company (NYSE: HSY) Chairman/President/CEO, John P. Bilbrey, will retire next year.
In June Mondelez approached Hershey about a takeover. Those discussions ended in August without a deal.

October 14, 2016 7:20 AM EDTThe Hershey Company (NYSE: HSY) today announced that John P. Bilbrey, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, intends to retire from the company July 1, 2017. Bilbrey will continue as non-executive chairman of Hersheys Board of Directors following his retirement as President and CEO.
