Canadian Solar Secures JPY9.6 Billion Syndicated Loan with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation

(the "Company", or "Canadian Solar") (NASDAQ: CSIQ), one of the world's largest solar power companies, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Canadian Solar Projects K.K. has entered into a syndicated 3- year loan facility for JPY9.6 billion (US$95 million). Â Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation ("SMBC") acted as the lead arranger.
