Berry Plastics Announces COO Appointment in Advance of CEO Retirement in 2017
September 30, 2016 8:30 AM EDTEVANSVILLE, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, the Board of Directors of Berry Plastics Group, Inc. (NYSE: BERY) announced that Thomas E. (Tom) Salmon has been unanimously elected as Berrys President and Chief Operating Officer effective October 3, 2016. As President and Chief Operating Officer, Salmon will be responsible for the Companys operating businesses, operations, supply chain, and procurement. Salmon currently serves as President of the Companys Consumer Packaging Division.
