Cintas Corporation Announces Fiscal 2017 First Quarter Results
September 27, 2016 4:15 PM EDTCINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) today reported results for its first quarter of fiscal year 2017 which ended August 31, 2016.
Revenue for the first quarter was $1.29 billion, an increase of 7.9% over the prior year period. Organic growth, which adjusts for the impacts of acquisitions and foreign currency exchange rate fluctuations, was 5.7%.
Operating income for the first quarter of fiscal year 2017 of $207.0 million increased 11.6% from the prior year period. Operating income margin improved to 16.0% from 15.5% of revenue in last years first quarter. Fiscal year 2017 operating income includes $2.8 million of transaction expenses... More
