September 8, 2016 8:44 AM EDTAGOURA HILLS, Calif., Sept. 8, 2016 American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE: AMH) (the "Company") today announced the pricing of an underwritten secondary public offering of 43,500,000 shares of the Company's Class A common shares of beneficial interest, $0.01 par value per share (the "Class A common shares"), at $21.75 per Class A common share. All of the Class A common shares were sold by Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, the selling shareholder (the "selling shareholder"), for expected gross proceeds to the selling shareholder of approximately $946.1 million, before underwriting discounts and commissions payable by the selling shareholder. September 7, 2016 4:07 PM EDTAGOURA HILLS, Calif., Sept. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE: AMH) (the "Company") today announced that Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, a selling shareholder (the "selling shareholder"), has commenced an underwritten secondary public offering of 43,500,000 of the Company's Class A common shares of beneficial interest, $0.01 par value per share (the "Class A common shares").Â
The Company is not offering any Class A common shares in the offering and will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of its Class A common shares by the selling shareholder.Â
