Arch Capital Group Ltd. to Acquire United Guaranty Corporation

(Nasdaq: ACGL) (Arch) today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire United Guaranty Corporation (UGC) and AIG United Guaranty Insurance (Asia) Limited from their current owner, American International Group, Inc.
