August 8, 2016 5:00 PM EDTLAS VEGAS, Aug. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Gas Corporation (NYSE: SWX) reported consolidated earnings of $0.19 per basic share for the second quarter of 2016, an $0.08 increase from consolidated earnings of $0.11 per basic share for the second quarter of 2015. Consolidated net income was $8.9 million for the second quarter of 2016, compared to consolidated net income of $4.9 million for the second quarter of 2015. The natural gas segment had net income of $2.4 million in the second quarter of 2016 compared to a net loss of $657,000 in the second quarter of 2015, while the construction services segment had net income...
