Covidien plc (COV) Raises Quarterly Dividend 12.5% to $0.36; 1.6% Yield

Covidien plc (NYSE: COV) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.36 per share, or $1.44 annualized. This is a 12.5% increase from the prior dividend of $0.32.

The dividend will be payable on November 6, 2014, to stockholders of record on October 7, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of October 3, 2014.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.6 percent.
