Moody's says U.S Silica Holdings, Inc.'s, the parent of U.S. Silica (NYSE: SLCA), announced plans to add approximately 3.8 million tons of new capacity is a credit positive. This additional capacity will provide U.S. Silica with more product to meet increasing demand of its customers for northern white frac sand at a time when demand is outstripping supply.
