Retailers Cut Price of Google (GOOG) Chromecast in U.K.

Has Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) hit a Chromecast saturation point in the U.K.?
According to TheNextWeb, the answer might very well be "yes."
Multiple e-commerce website have Google Chromecast selling for £18 to £20, down from a launch price of £30. Notably, Chromecast has only been available in the U.K. since March 2014, despite being available in the U.S. for over a year.
It wasn't made clear why the retailers were cutting prices.
Retailers selling the device on the cheap include Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN), Currys, and Tesco.
Shares of Google are about flat Friday.
