Notable ETF Movers of the Day 02/14: (OIH) (XME) Higher; (XLU) Lower

Gainers:

Market Vectors Oil Services ETF (NYSE: OIH) gained 2.9 percent to 44.85. Large gains were seen in shares of Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL), which traded higher by 6 percent.

SPDR S&P Metals & Mining (NYSE: XME) gained 1.5 percent to 44.75. Gains were seen in a number of coal stocks, including Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: ANR) which traded higher 12 percent. Yesterday Alpha Natural Resources reported Q4 results and updated its 2013 outlook. Shares of Walter Energy, Inc. (NYSE: WLT) traded higher in sympathy.

Decliners:

Utilities Select Sector SPDR (NYSE: XLU) declined 0.8 percent. Duke Energy Corporation (NYSE: DUK), the top holding in XLU, reported earnings on Wednesday morning, prompting a 2-day decline in the stock. Year-to-date, XLU is higher by 3.88 percent, compared to the S&P 500 which is higher by 4 percent.
