Unusual 11 Mid-Day Movers 01/22: (USEG) (TECUA) (DQ) Higher; (OIBR) (ARNA) (AMRI) Lower

US Energy Corp. (Nasdaq: USEG) 19.6% HIGHER; continuing to bounce higher today. After moving back to the $1.80 level last Friday, which was an area of support last October, momentum is pushing shares above the $2 level on volume.

Tecumseh Products Company (Nasdaq: TECUA) 18.5% HIGHER; announced that Mr. Kent B. Herrick has resigned as a member of the Board of Directors and as its Chairman, effective January 17, 2013. The Company was advised by Mr. Herrick that his resignation was driven by the pace of the strategic decision making by the Company.

Daqo New Energy Corp. (NYSE: DQ) 17.4% HIGHER; adding to gains last Friday on China's fourth-quarter GDP report. Shares are up about 39 percent over the last three sessions.

Cimatron Ltd. (Nasdaq: CIMT) 15.3% HIGHER; another momentum stock showing strength on volume today. Following a 16 percent gain last Friday to $5.55, Cimatron is back above $6 today. About 950,000 shares have traded versus the three-month trailing average of 42,000 shares.

SeaCube Container Leasing Ltd. (NYSE: BOX) 13.5% HIGHER; SeaCube and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan announced they have entered into an agreement by which Teachers' will acquire 100% of the shares of SeaCube for about $23 per share.

Matrix Service Company (Nasdaq: MTRX) 12.3% HIGHER; Stephens upgraded Matrix from Equal Weight to Overweight today.

Oi SA (NYSE: OIBR) 11.8% LOWER; replaced CEO Francisco Valim with Chairman Mauro Carneiro da Cunha, according to a securities filing.

Arena Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: ARNA) 9.4% LOWER; received a Day 180 List of Outstanding Issues from the EMA's CHMP following submission of a marketing app for Belviq. For more color, click here.

Albany Molecular Research Inc. (Nasdaq: AMRI) 8.2% LOWER; saw a massive volume move early. About 98,000 shares clicked down through the $5 level just after 10:00am EST today, grabbing traders attention in the process. Shares are just coming off of a recent 52-week high.

II-VI, Inc. (Nasdaq: IIVI) 7.9% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.19, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $125.89 million versus the consensus estimate of $137.1 million. Sees Q3 2013 EPS of $0.24-$0.28, versus the consensus of $0.27 and revenue of $145-$150 million, versus the consensus of $158.23 million. Also sees FY2013 EPS of $0.91-$0.99, versus the consensus of $1.00 and revenue of $560-$570 million, versus the consensus of $597.86 million.

Impax Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ: IPXL) 7.7% LOWER; announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a complete response letter to its Impax Pharmaceuticals unit regarding the New Drug Application (NDA) for RYTARY (IPX066), an extended-release capsule formulation of carbidopa-levodopa, a potential treatment for the symptomatic treatment of Parkinson’s disease currently under review in the United States.
