Sonde Resources Corp. (AMEX: SOQ) 17.5% HIGHER; announces that it has farmed out 66.67% of its interest in the Joint Oil Block to Viking Energy North Africa Limited.

Aeterna Zentaris Inc. (Nasdaq: AEZS) 17.1% HIGHER; has reached an agreement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") on a Special Protocol Assessment ("SPA") for an upcoming Phase 3 registration trial in endometrial cancer with its doxorubicin peptide conjugate, AEZS-108. The SPA agreement states that the proposed trial protocol design, clinical endpoints and planned analyses are acceptable to the FDA to support a regulatory submission.

Yongye International Limited (Nasdaq: YONG) 14.9% HIGHER; the company received a letter, from China Development Bank Corporation, indicating that it will provide debt financing in the form of a loan facility in an aggregate amount of up to US$232 million to, among other things, fund a portion of the consideration payable in connection with the proposed acquisition of the Publicly Held Shares.
